The world's highest performance glycan profiler (i.e., microarray scanner). Since the first generation glycan profiler, GSR1200, was launched by Moritex's Glycomics Research Laboratory in 2007, it has been used around the world as a high-performance scanner that uses evanescent-field fluorescence excitation technology. GSR2300 is a state-of-the-art scanner that makes the world's highest sensitivity compatible with high-speed scanning at the same time.
The resolution is 6.5um, allowing accurate scanning of microarray spot shapes. Even when the scanning condition is set to obtain the highest sensitivity while maintaining this high resolution, the scanning time remains within 80 seconds. It is the only scanner in the world that can achieve both high resolution and high speed scanning at the same time.
Furthermore, by using a Digital Binning function impremented as standard, it is possible to shorten the scan time to 10 seconds while maintaining the same maximum sensitivity.
The sensitivity of GSR2300 is controlled by selecting exposure time. The maximum exposure time is 10 seconds. The detection device has very low noise and has very high linearity with a wider dynamic range, even in the pg quantity of the glycoprotein used as the sample. This makes it possible to obtain glycan profiling from just 3 cells.
